The Craft Cart Every Small Space Needs

I usually don’t have time for crafting during the school year, so summer is my devoted DIY spree. I’ve already painted a few canvases, decorated some mason jars, and dip-dyed some old t-shirts (I’ll be posting a tutorial soon!), but all the supplies I used just ended up scattered around my room. My floor space is pretty limited, so I’m always looking for functional storage options that take up more height than anything else, and IKEA happened to have the perfect item for organizing all of my supplies!

It’s technically a kitchen cart, but it honestly works perfectly for craft storage. I love that I can roll it into different rooms if I want to work somewhere else, and the three levels make it easier to find what I’m looking for. It’s not huge either, so it fits well in small spaces like dorms and apartments!

Mason jars were great for organizing smaller things like my brushes, so I bought a few different sizes of those. I also stored all of my canvases in the bottom bin, although not all of them fit, so I’m still looking for a better solution to that.

The cart fit perfectly next to my shelving unit. I’m pretty sure my room could be used in an IKEA catalog with all of the products I have from them! I actually used that shelf in my dorm room as a pantry, and when I move in again later this year, I’ll show y’all how I set that up!

Do you have any suggestions for small space storage? I’d love to hear!
